for example you uploded shell on a site
for example http://www.xyz.org/xyz/urshell.php
now go here http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/web-sites-on-web-server/ and check other websites which host on this server
Now go to shell Link
see Work directory or chnage directory option
you'll got a this typ link /home/xyz/public_html/xyz
go to home dir :) and see whole server and upload ur deface or shell on anysite which based on this server :)

This method is for linux servers (php) but u can hack windows (asp) server with this method by using some special asp shells
